Elasticity: When we apply some force on a body that force deforms the body or body try to regain its original shape & size after removal of deforming force that property is known as Elasticity & that body is known as Elastic Body.
Similarly If body Can’t regain its Original Shape & Size that property is known as Plasticity & Body is known as Plastic Body. We can Apply deforming force upto a limit Beyond that limit if we will apply deforming force Body will get permanently deformed & that limit is known as Elastic limit & According to Hooke’s law Stress is directly proportional upto Elastic limit & Ratio of Stress & Strain is known as Modulus of Elasticity.
On the basis of types of Stress & Strain Modulus of Elasticity can be devided into 3 Parts
1.Young’s Modulus of Elasticity
2.Bulk Modulus of Elasticity
3.Shear Modulus Of Elasticity
